Portfolio

Selection of assorted work from graduate-level classes.

Fall 2024 – Personnel Selection

Validation Proposal

For this assignment, students were provided with a hypothetical scenario where an organization was implementing a new assessment to use for personnel selection. It was the students’ job to craft a plan to validate the new assessment.

Fall 2024 – Independent Research

Research Proposal

This research proposal was a self-driven project focused on the use of extended time accommodations in testing in the context of employment. This was my first project exploring how testing accommodations can influence psychometric properties of assessments.

Fall 2025 – Multivariate Statistics

Research Project

For this project, students were tasked with sourcing data related to a topic of their choice and using it to answer a research question. The statistical analysis was required to be some sort of multivariate analysis. I chose attitudes toward people with disabilities as my topic of interest.

Fall 2025 – Individual and Cultural Differences

Research Proposal

The assignment was to choose a research question that would advance the individual differences literature and to then write a research proposal. I decided to continue with my focus on disability but shifted the lens from the workplace to higher education. In addition, it was my first time crafting a research proposal for a qualitative study, and much of my research was regarding how to conduct proper qualitative inquiry.
